| Manchester Stop Smoking Service provides specialists support from trained professionals, to help people to quit smoking or prevent them from starting. It’s a free NHS service open to adult and children who work, live or registered with a doctor in Manchester.
Choosing to stop smoking can be one of the most important and worthwhile decisions that a person makes, however it may also be one of the most difficult. It can be easier to stop smoking with the correct information and support. |

| If you need more information or help to stop smoking please call 0161 205 5998. With can provide an interpreter for clients whose first language is not English. Text ‘LANG’ plus the language you would like to be called back in to 81025.

Text messaging service
You can text the following to 81025:
- LANG: plus the language you would like to be called back in
- FLYER: if you are contacting the service from an advert in a flyer or leaflet
- YOUNG: if you are 16 years and under
- SMOKE: for any other way you heard about the service
Translation/Interpretation Service
If your first language is not English the service can provide you with a translator to set up your appointment and an interpreter for follow up appointments
Sign Language Service
You can bring a member of your family or friend or the service can provide a British Sign Language signer. |
