The Manchester Stop Smoking Service offers a one day training programme free of charge to health workers who want to support their clients to stop smoking. It includes information and discussion on:
- Why bother to stop smoking?
- What’s in a cigarette?
- How health and community staff can make a difference
- Health facts and figures, national and local
- Pharmaceutical treatments – Champix®, Zyban® and Nicotine Replacement Therapies (NRT).
All participants will receive a certificate of attendance and a training portfolio.
