Bad mix is a campaign to highlight the health problems of combining cocaine and pills with alcohol. A6 postcard size flyers have been produced whose target audience is young clubbers and students. On the reverse there is basic information about associated health problems.

The Over 50’s Relationship and Sexual Health Guide is a sexual health promotion resource targeting anyone over 50. It aims to improve and promote good sexual health amongst the Over 50s, and to enable them to make informed choices about their sexual health and relationships.
It also aims to increase people’s knowledge of sex and relationships and to reduce the incidences of sexually transmitted infections and HIV infection amongst the Over 50s.
Cost: £1.50 per copy (No VAT charged. Price includes P&P).

This prison specific poster project was developed by the Public Health Development Service's Sexual Health and Harm Reduction team within NHS Manchester.

| Many health promotion resources offer advice which is inappropriate for the prison population, or impossible to achieve, such as signposting to self help websites or telephone help lines.
The 6 posters aim to specifically target, and raise awareness of specific health issues, pertinent to the male prison population. The health topic areas covered include sexual health, smoking, mental health, hepatitis, testicular cancer, alcohol and cocaine use. These posters will assist establishments in fulfilling requirements of PSO 3200 – Health Promotion.
Prisoners were consulted throughout the development process.
These posters are currently displayed around HMP Manchester and are available to other establishments across the national prison estate. |
