Screening and brief interventions are high on the harm reduction agenda. Research so far has found people to be twice more likely to moderate their drinking after a brief conversation with health care staff. “This is a public service announcement brought to you by Think Safe, Drink Safe”. Two local rappers, Mad Rush and Omen-Ra from GMMAZ, one of 24 Youth Music Action Zones in England and Wales, produced three tracks taking on themes around the affects of alcohol, from physical assault, noise nuisance and criminal damage.
