Tackling Stress at Work

All workplaces should be implementing the HSE ‘Management Standards for Tackling Stress at Work’.  In order to fulfil their responsibilities, supervisors and line managers need knowledge and skills to recognise signs of stress, to identify causes of work-related stress and how to address and resolve problems with the staff they manage.  This one-day course helps line managers to reach the recommended competences to do this, using a risk assessment model to identify causes of stress at work and to develop strategies to tackle them.

Training Dates

  • 9th November 2011
  • 24th January 2012
  • Time of all these courses is 9.30am - 4.30pm
  • Venue for all dates: Training Room, Victoria Mill

If you are interested in this course for a group of managers in your workplace, contact: Caroline Bedale, Tel: 0161 861 2540, caroline.bedale@mhsc.nhs.uk
