NHS Manchester has developed a strategy for tackling stress at work, including a policy, conducting a pilot survey and running problem-solving focus groups. In order to fulfil their responsibilities under the strategy, managers of staff need to have knowledge and skills to identify sources of work-related tress and how to address them. Four training days are being held between October 2008 and March 2009 (30th October, 2nd December, 28th January, 19th March).
